Mission Statement

"The FSU ceramics area is a BFA / MFA studio art program where excellence is expected through research in a supportive, rigorous environment. All aspects of contemporary ceramic art are practiced including sculpture, pottery, installation and new media artworks. Students become proficient in technical skills and theory to provide the groundwork for creating innovative artworks."
